Speedometer Cable Question
I have a 1985 Z28 305/700r4 and my cable is sheared off at the tranny. If i buy this cable http://www.ecklerscamaro.com/product...dept%5Fid=1849 is it going to work, and if it is too long can i cut it to fit, this particular one doesnt say it comes with the sheathing so i am guessing its just the cable.

Out of curiosity, I checked PartsAmerica. The company was showing three cables for my 85, all below $20.

Re: Speedometer Cable Question
i had to get a new one for a 87 iroc, i went to the general and bought mine, it looked just like that one in the pic you supplied, mine was cable and sheathing, im not sure if it was 80 inches long but it fit just right, as long as you route it in the same manner as oem. btw the original speedo cable was a 2 piece, but since all are one, have fun!

Re: Speedometer Cable Question
I ended up just picking up a Pioneer for 9.99 at Autozone, 80 inch fit my car perfect.
