I have a 350 bored .30 with dished pistons. I have lg4 heads with the lg4 aluminium intake & q-jet carb. It's a 5-speed. What size cam would be the best for me to use without having to change the stock springs? I would like to get a more aggressive sounding idle. The car runs pretty good now but I think it has the stock 350 cam in it. I'm just trying to do something to pep it up and don't have alot of money.

Stock springs are inadequate for a stock cam.

Figure on needing springs if you put in a better cam.
