Re: Help!

so it turns over, fires up, and runs for a few seconds then just sputters and dies? Can you be more specific?

Re: Help!

take your fuel line off your intake (whatever it is you have). turn your key on and make sure that your fuel pump is pumping fuel in large quantities. if no, have someone turn key on for you and go put your ear up to the bottom of the tank, if you hear it spool up to pump and then shut off, most likely you have a plugged fuel filter. if no pump turns on, check your fuel pump fuse. if fuse is good, test your wiring, if wiring is good, then you pretty much have a bad fuel pump (have fun).

if pump turns on, fuel pumps out of the line, re-install it and try to start it again, sometimes air will build in the line and it will mess with your sensors therefore messing with your fuel ratio. also check your timing and make sure that all your sensors are still hooked up.

still not running? well then you need to give us a little more information....

motor size
intake type
ignition type (stock, msd...etc)
fuel pump type (elec. or mechanical)

you get what i mean
