idle problem
Okay so my engines idling is messed up. When driving or accelerating, I have no problem. When the car is just idling it sounds like its struggling, and eventually dies at some points. Distributor cap and rotor, wires and plugs are all new.
*Side note* All of my cylinders are reading about 150 lbs for compression, except one which reads about 125/130. Would this cause the issue?
Also what octane SHOULD I run? I run 91 all the time.
Here is a video of how it sounds when its idling. The fan is pretty loud but I think this should help a little.

Re: idle problem
Anybody? I think it is probably the timing. Before it dies out when idling, it idles at like 600 rpm's.
Re: idle problem
Did this problem start when you put in the cap, rotor, and wires? Make sure all the wires are going to the proper cylinder and that they are all snapped on to each plug securely. Any trouble codes? Check the timing, and ohm the injectors when they are cold and again when the engine is warmed up.

Re: idle problem
Thanks, but figured it out... one of my spark plug wires got to close to the header, you get what happened. Replaced that one and voila.
