OKay ive got an 85 trans am tbi. It ran fine earlier today, i finally wired in my aftermarket guages, and now it wont start. Plugs and wires are a week old, and its getting gas to the carb, but i noticed when i open the throttle up, the gas pours in then it smokes. Havent really paid enough attention before to know if this is normal or not. It cranks like its going to start, but wont turn over. Im thinking the ignition coil? Please help me out, i really dont want to have to pay for towing to a shop and pay shop fees.

 

Just replaced my battery and it still wont start.
