2.8L won't start
Hello everybody!
I am new to this forum and have been having some trouble. I have a 1989 Firebird, 5 speed, with the 2.8. The starter went out about a week ago and I had it replaced. Since then, the car will rarely start with the key (maybe once every 15 tries or so).
I had been push starting until I got my starter in, so I thought I would give it a shot. Bam, starts right up and runs fine.
The starter seems to be working, it sounds good when it is turning the engine. Could it be the starter still causing problems, or is there something else I should be looking at?
Thanks for any help!!
Matt
