My headlights are giving me problems.



Facing from the front Left Headlight Gear, This headlight will go up sometimes when i push the button or just make the grinding noise and stay shut and will not open up when pulled upon it is quiet stubborn.



Facing from front, Right headlight gear, this headlight does not go up at all sometimes when the button is pushed or only halfway and has to be manual opened. If I hit a bump on the road this headlight falls down so at night i drive like Mr. Magoo swerving potholes and bumps lol. Any help please? thank you greatly appreciated.

 

You need the rebuild kit for the motors they are little plastic pieces that wear out over time but one problem I can see is that the motor on your passenger side is correct and the one on the driver side is for the 82-86 IIRC so it is wrong for your 90 model .

 

89 bird, thank you so much i thought it might of been that since there both different. Where can I get a rebuild kit or a motor for my car? A junkyard?

 

You could go to the JY but I would check on here for one I think 1A auto or some others could have the motor and rebuild kit for a decent price . Just do a search for it .
