My 89 firebird just up and quit starting the other day i've gone ahead and replaced the ign switch and bypassed the nutural safety switch. still no luck at starting it i'm guessing at this point it has to be something with vats since i get no sec light at all. Bad vats realay?

did the resistor trick and that seemed to work. Good luck with yours.

 

ya i figured out that if i play with the key it will come on so im gonna do the resistor trick

 

i had same problem, all the lights would come on, but when u turn the key nothing, i found that taking the neutral terminal off the battery and putting it back on worked for me.
