suggestions on head selection for tight budget

Ok guys i want some more power. who doesnt right. well when i bought this car a few years ago guy told me it has the gm goodwrench 290hp motor in it. the block number matches for a aftermarket gm goodwrench block. ive read the gm high performace articles on the motor. the number one hold back is the cam and heads. im on a very very tight budget right now and this is my daily driver/toy. So im sitting here trying to figure out what to get..basically at the moment my budget is 800 dollars. there are other things on car i need to fix too..like the exhaust but ill do that later. the heads im looking at right now are the world products sportsmans 2, s/r torquer's, the e-tech, performer rpm, gm performance vortec, trick flow super 23...thing is with my tight budget going to need more then just the heads to bolt them on...that is if they will accept the factory parts for the time being. id like to get a set of heads so in the future i can make decent hp like 400 at the wheels..feel free to give me you opinions. if i had a better job and making more money this wouldn't be a problem but with this crappy economy and no sight of an end to it. i cant find better work in this small town...

You can buy a set of rebuild vortec's on ebay for around $350 shipped that have been milled, valve job, and new seals.but vortec's,nice size cam around 230* .500lift(if you plan on bigger springs) and a airgap will make that car fly.
