valve guide/head question
Hello all,
I'm not experienced with heads and machine work, so I'm hoping you can help me here. I just purchased a set of used heads that were machined for 2.02/1.6 valves. one of the heads is normal, the other appears to have had the valve guides drilled and re-sleeved (see photo). Is this acceptable or do i have to be concerned about this head failing? thanks in advance!

Re: valve guide/head question
as long as they are guides are tight they are fine and make sure the top of the guide is machined for the proper seals i work at a local machine shop and we normally use bronze liners in stead of drilling for guides but it is not a problem
