well its 1984 v6 173 cu.in. 2bbl backed with a 5spd non WC t-5, all factory(as far as i can tell, btu the engine still has orange paint on it) when i bought it and got it running it has been sitting for 7 years. now when we started it up it had a idle of roughly 30-3500 rpm. lots of vaccum leaks and the choke didnt work. well replaced almost all vaccum lines and some choke parts and now the idle on start up is down but when its warmed up its back at 3000 rpm. and the biggest thing so far since working on it is the fact that it jerks in all gears at all times, except for well the pedal is all the way to the floor. the jerking could be best desrcibed as when going to slow for a gear. now before working on it it had power, unlike now, and it didnt jerk, except for on very little times. also the distruber was tooken out and found that it was 1 tooth off(put back correctly now) and since doing that dont have to retard it past TDC so far anymore to make it better. umm also there has been a popping noise coming from the exhaust, now its more common then before. dont now if that has anything to do with it but figure id tell everyone. also the mechinal pump isnt working, something bout the pysh rod not hitting it, so i have a aftermarket electri pump on it, i believe its pushing 9psi, but advance says no that the pump i got is 7psi max. any questions just ask. thanks for all the help guys/girls. so for the long post lol.

 

cmon any one please, its eating gas like a 350 and im sure all this jerking cant be good. does have new plugs, cap, rotor button, and the wires are good, 8mms.
