just bought a 1992 25th anniversay RS with a 305 and auto tranny. when i picked it up, it was running really rough. got a new battery today(other one had to get jumped of constantly to start) and put a $30 air intake on it. its running pretty good now, but when i rev it up, it seems to miss a little, almost like the timing is off. whats the best way to check the timing and fix it if need be? ill be doing all new fluids and stuff within the next week.

any other problem areas i need to check? or anything that should be replaced?

got the engine code. its code 51. its a problem with the PROM/EEPRPOM, so how do i fix that?? haha never heard of that being a problem
