Re: Oil leak?
If you are still leaking oil from the passenger side, check for a leak where the dipstick tube goes into the block.

Re: Oil leak?
Using rubber or cork valve cover gaskets? Did you thoroughly clean the old gunk off real well? None of those fancy chrome valve cover bolts ever work well, they twist inside rather than tightening down.

Re: Oil leak?
i used cork and i hit it with a wire brush until it was all off like it was shiney metal i put the gasket onto and the chrome hold downs i guess could be the problem but idk cause i still have the same thing holding it down its like a spacer i guess? idk but as of today the camaro isnt on the road i bought a 2000 jetta so its either gonna be really good for my camaro or bad for it idk yet

Re: Oil leak?
Did you use a good adhesive sealer like KW Copper Gasket Sealer or Permatex High Tack to affix the gaskets to the covers and let it set up good before assembly? If not the soft cork gaskets may have slipped out of place. You can go around the cover with a dentist's mirror to look for cork all the way around. The Felpro silicone rubber on a steel frame are so much better because they hold their shape and stay put.

Re: Oil leak?
Apeiron will tell you to check the front, lower portion of the engine block. One of the holes that the smog pump mounted to goes through the block into oil. I've had oil come from this hole before when it was left open. If this is the case, put a short bolt(3/4") with a ring of RTV on the threads into the hole to plug it. Thread size is 3/8-16.
