Last thing before having a running 350! Just need sum alternator help

Ok guys, i did the 350 swap, everything has been easy, ive just been making all of my connections and lines daily driver quality, new 700r4 tranny. Everything is brand new, except for my original crossfire injection 3 wire alternator.

My harness has the plug with 3 wires, and then an additional small wire that attatches to a small prong on the alternator, i hooked that stuff up,

however i just figured out, i dont have any wires running back to my battery for charging it

So could a guru enlighten me, from where exactly do i run a nice stout wire to my battery so that she can maintain proper voltage. Thanks, Joshua

The factory wire usually runs from a post on the rear of the alternator to the main battery post down on the starter.
If you wish you can run your own wire directly to the positive post of your battery or to a distribution block if you use one.

The positive battery cable already runs to starter - no need for another "big fat wire".

The factory doesn't fuse it but it's up to you. 100+ amp fuses cost a bit more than the small ones.
