looking for the best out of the box heads for a 305 out the box! i don't want to do any porting, i will gasket match!

Need more info. TPI or TBI or carbed? Is the goal low end torque, overall hp, higher rpm performance? What's wrong with the heads you have?
If it's a TBI car, I'd suggest leaving it alone - there's a very thin line between what the TBI prom will understand, and the point where you need custom chip programming, and custom chip programming is a hard thing to get for a TBI (unless you do it yourself).
Definitely need more info.

84 h.o, as it sits right now i have a EB 600 or 650 carb(can"t remember) weiand power plus intake, headers and duals. the motor was swapped out when it had a rod knock so it has a 84 lower comp carb 305 in it now that i got for free plus all my old parts on it now.
i have desktop dyno and have been playing with some flow numbers and intake and cam combos. i don't plan on revving over 6k, want a strong flat tq curve something to make the car fun, my dd is a low 13 sec gtp and i want to be able to beat this car.
with my combo with a 8.5 comp, cam choice and eq 350 vortecs i COULD see 390 at 6k and max tq at 372 at 5k know it could be off but i know if you put the flow number in correctly i can be close... whats your insight?
