Lt1 cam + cfi

okay so what i have is a 1982 z28 with the crossfire injection and auto trans
now my friend is pulling the cam out of his 93 corvette with the lt1
he said he would give it to me for free just to have me help him
will it fit?
will it screw with my electronics?
and will this affect my rpm range at all?
thats all i wanna know just havent seen much about putting cams into the
cfi cars and yes this is only to hold me over until i can afford a 383 this summer hopefully

thanks ahead of time
Jordan

p.s. my first thread but been ghosting around this site since i bought the car mid summer

Re: Lt1 cam + cfi

AFAIK it will not work. Simply because your 82 has hydraulic flat tappet lifters, and the vette LT1 uses hydraulic roller lifters.

Re: Lt1 cam + cfi

Aside from the lifter issue, it will otherwise bolt in and work just fine. (just for the record)
