TBI injector problem

Engine: cammed 3.1
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.42
TBI injector problem
I just dropped a 305 in a friends car the problem we're having is the car will start and run great but after 10 seconds or so the injectors shoot like a big burst of fuel and the car runs like crap, puffs black smoke then idle's fine again and it keep cycling the same pattern. Is there a problem with the injectors or could the ECM be crapping out?

Found my problem the TPS was throwing the ECM into a fit, now she purrs
