valve seals and code 36
I'm getting blue smoke when I first start my camaro and what
I gather it's probably a sign of leaky valve seals. I'm also
pulling a code from the SES light as a 36. I have 2 questions:
Are these 2 issues related? How long can you drive with the
valve seal problem without causing major problems? Thanks.

Re: valve seals and code 36
If the smoke is only on start up then it is valve stem seals and shouldn't cause any other issues. Just keep an eye on oil level and check plugs for oil fouling after 10K miles. Replacing valve stem seals is fairly easy.
