92 z28 leaking from everywhere

92 305 tpi

i had it sitting for about 6 months through winter and spring due to the roof leaking. on the first sunny day here i take it out, of course jam on the gas a bit around town and then park it.

now it hasnt produced any spots at all before this, ive had it for about a year. but now i moved it and there are oil spots underneath, not huge ones, but its definitely leaking.

I put it up on blocks and looked around underneath, wiped stuff down trying to find some sort of obvious leak. all i could find were a few drips coming off bolts on the tranny pan, and maybe some around the oil pan, its pretty hard to tell. Ive changed the oil pretty recently, right before winter, and then didnt drive it at all.

i was thinking maybe just change both gaskets and see what happens? it must not be leaking much because both fluids are at the correct level.

ALSO there is a hair line crack at the top of the radiator... is there a simple fix to this beyond just getting a new one?

If you can see the crack, you could use some fine sandpaper (when it's cool) and sand down the area to be patched, then wipe it clean, and apply some 'quicksteel' compound- found at most hardware or auto supply stores. JB weld works well, too. Ideally, since quicksteel sets fast, put this on first, wait an hour, then apply a thin coat of JB weld on top, and let it sit overnight before driving. You may even put some stop leak fluid for good measure.

as for gaskets are you looking for a oil pan gasket? your seeing it drip off the tranny pan bolts because your drove it, the oil just kind of got pushed back that way after driving it so its not unusual if there is a leak but you really need to determine where exactly the leak is coming from because it could be anything from pan, heads to intake manifold.
