wispy smoke....

Ok so still new to all of this doing my own stuff to the car but having a blast with it. Need some help. Wispy smoke coming from the drivers side engine compartment looks to originate somewhere near the motor mount and underneath the exhaust manifolds. Looks like there IS a liquid leaking onto engine compartments but no MASSIVE oil leaks or leaks of ANY kind underneath the car onto the pavement. Car seems to be ideling smoothly but when you actually put a load on it, the car seems like it is slightly lurching and not really getting the power. Seems like its trying but just not breaking through.....

A little help?

Re: wispy smoke....

Identify the liquid - coolant or oil? Is it getting on the manifold or pipes? A single drip of oil on a hot exhaust can produce a surprising amount of smoke.
