My 91 rs 305 tbi just recently started to lose power under acceleration (happens with over 50% throttle given) when i try to pass someone or get up a large hill it will downshift like normal but it doesn't want to speed up at all and i can smell unused fuel when this happens. Oil pressure is running low around 16 when im driving and just about 8-10 when i come to a stop, i've checked the oil multiple times and it's at a normal level. Also today i noticed when trying to pass someone when the car downshifted i heard a very distinct whining from the motor. My rpm gauge doesn't work so i can't tell what the rpm is doing when this happens, but it sounds like its revving up like normal but just not going anywhere.
