Overheat, Runs Rough
Went away on a trip didnt check fluid levels when i got back. Realized my car was overheating pegged at 250 and had my reservoir overflow. Filled it back up after it cooled down car starts fine no white/blue smoke coming out of exhaust and i dont see any cloudiness in the oil so I'm thinking the head gasket is ok. I am getting rough idle and loss of power very similiar to a missfire. I can drive it ok but its a little rough again like a miss fire. Could i have messed up my copper plugs or some sensor like the IAC etc...? Any help would be great thanks.

From my experience from overheating and running a car hot you can burn out your spark plugs to the point they need to be replaced. Thats just what it sounds like to me.

Figured out. Plugs were fine looks like overheat coincided with one of my ignition cables coming loose from the plug. Put it back on and car is fine.
