Odd launch behavior

Hello all, just broke out the iroc from winter storage and did an oil change and got a fresh tank of gas. Car is running great except from a launch. When i come to a complete stope and launch the car i get some minor wheel spin and then when it hooks up and goes it immediately shifts into second gear. It is not reving up through the rpms before shifting into 2nd.

Car is a 1989 Iroc with L98. Rear has been swapped to a G92 optioned rear.

Thoughts?

Re: Odd launch behavior

I have never had this happen before. If I ease into it and then give it full throttle it will shift very close to the yellow/red line.
