305 l69 H.O Questions

I have a lunati cam waiting to be installed, will i need any other parts to make this happen?, ive been told i'll need a roller timing chain, and new springs and rockers, is this true?, if so i'll order everything from lunati thanks again guys,

All you absolutely need is the cam, lifters, gaskets, oil and a filter, but there's a lot you can do while it's all apart.

Gotta have the cam and new lifters.

You'll almost certainly need the valve springs too; at least one of your stockers will probably break before you get backed all the way down your driveway with that thing.

Timing set, who knows,; when you get to where you can physically see your current one, you have to be the judge. I'm guessing .... you'll decide you'd like to put in a new one.

Other than that, it's pretty much a drop-in. At least in the short term.

A double roller timing chain will require some modification to the block for clearance.
