almost stall out when turning...

Ok, I know that when the fuel level is down to a 1/4 tank on these 3rd gens the fuel sloshes away and causes it to almost stall out. My question was did GM fix that problem in '92? not sure but did the police package have the swinging fuel pick up? is that still available or is there something better now?

do you know if the tank is original? possibly it was
replaced some time with a carb tank and does not have
the little plastic tray that the FI tanks have to keep
fuel from sloshing away from the fuel pickup.
I have never had any trouble with mine cutting out on
aggresive turns with the tank low-FI tank with the tray.

As far as I know it's the stock tank. My '87 had that problem it was common back then just wondered if they had fixed it by '92. My '92 RS doesn't do it but the wife had the back end loaded with groceries and she said it almost stalled out when she hooked a turn. No big deal we'll just keep it above 1/4 tank
