Ok guys, Im new to this site, however I have already found much needed information. As stated on my profile, I own an 86' 305 Tpi Camaro. This engine is completely stock and It has been acting up lately. When put in park, the idling will often jump to over 2,000 Rpms maintain this until put in drive where it will set the idling down to around 700 Rpms, Where it should be. Also, while driving the car, it will constantly jump slightly and will jump each time you let off the throttle and each time you give it more throttle. I am not a mechanic, but I do know this engine to a certain extent. Any help on what would cause this would be greatly appreciated.
