Building up a 305
Hey is it possible to put 283 heads on a 305 block and get a similar effect of putting 305 heads on a 350 block?

No
Most 283 heads have larger chambers than 305 heads
And of course, they ALL lack the provisions (bolt hole bosses) for the accessory systems in these cars
