Some questions for better performance.
Hey guys my name is Serg, I have a 1982 Z28 all stock 305. The car runs great!
But what I want to ask is if there is anything I can do to make this thing get a little more power and a bigger sound too but still being street/smog legal?
Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?

Re: Some questions for better performance.
Is it TBI/carb'd? If so a cheap mod is a 14x3 open element air cleaner. You can pick it up for $40 and its a 20 minute install. Rght away you'll feel a more crisp throttle response and a lot less hesitation when stepping on the gas. Another thing is going to be a cat back exhaust system. Look into dynomax, I am a fan of their products and they arent too expensive. You might not notice as much of a performance gain from that but you'll like the sound.
