pulling motor on i roc z 28 1988 Needed to install head gaskets. Car has 27,000 miles. car sat for many years. Drove great for a few hundred miles an started fowling plug (right side back )thought it was valve seals. then found anti freeze running out of head.thought it would be e-z er just to pull it out. Any suggestions on what I may do to this motor while it is out.

 

Depends on what you find while it's out... no sense either spending more than you need to, or failing to do something really necessary. Once you can see what you've got hold of you can make intelligent and informed decisions instead of a bunch of guesswork.
