randomly not starting

Hi guys I have a 89 trans am with the lb9 I am having problems with it randomly not wanting to start or stop running when I am driving. I believe the problem is with the fuel because I remember I could not hear the fuel pump turn on at one point. I bought a fuel pressure gauge and I am running 42 psi with just the fuel pump on and 38 psi with is running so to me the fuel pump seems strong, could it be a relay? or is it the fuel pump at this point Im lost she starts when she feels like it

Need to observe the fuel pressure when it's having problems. Knowing the fuel pressure when it isn't having problems doesn't help.

Re: randomly not starting

What do you mean when you say "not wanting to stop" while you are driving?
