Car shakes in 5th
When I am on the highway, I usually have to stay in 4th gear, because when I shift into 5th, and add any throttle it shakes pretty violently, if I am in 4th going 85-90 its fine, but if I shift into 5th at 70, 80 or 90, it shakes as I put my foot down on the gas. Any reason as to why this would be? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Edit: It also seems to not want to accelerate for a moment while its going through this shaking process.

Noise. Id have to drive again. But no, I get, what I feel are normal vibrations in all the other gears. 5th gear is just really bad. Like, I feel an urge to downshift bad.

How about lower speed in 5th? Shift early at 45 and slowly speed up. When exactly does the shaking start? As soon as you shift or at a specific RPM/Speed?

I've been having the same problem! If his is like mine, when I shift it earlier at around 45mph, it's a real lopey, heavy feeling vibration like a whomp whomp whomp whomp sort of thing. Goes away around 55ish and then picks back up again at 75ish, getting worse as the speeds increase. Mainly when I get on the gas and then when I let off it ebbs away but still shakes the dash a bit until the speed and rpms decrease a little.
