Might be getting back in a 3rd gen.
So I sold my GTA a few years ago to get something newer to drive around so I went to the dark side and have had two Mustangs (an 06 GT and currently a 13 5.0). Well My buddy has a red 91 Formula 350 in awesome shape with only 100k miles on it. Nice paint, nice inside, crosslace wheels the hole 9, has a few issues but is savable and runs pretty good! Best of all is he said I could have it for 1k. So my first question is, the car has issues starting sometimes. The battery is good and it has a new starter, but when you turn the key sometimes nothing happens. Wait maybe 20 mins and then it will start perfectly and start flawless after that until you let it sit again. Was thinking maybe Vats? or needs a new key made? I will update this thread when i get the car, it has other engine related issues I need help with as well. thanks guys!

For the starter issue as described, I'd start with making sure all the wiring coming up fro the starter is good, followed closely by Vats.
