how to test smog/AIR pump??

im in the middle of getting my car smogged and my Camaro failed 3 times. how can you test the smog/air pumps??

Please complete your profile with the make, model, year, engine, location, etc.

Also, what makes you think the AIR injection system is at fault?

If your tests results show the five gases that are measured, please post them. Most of the time you can tell if the AIR injection system is working just by looking at the numbers.
