Loss of Fuel Pressure when Camaro warms up

I own a 92' 305 TBI 5 Speed Camaro, it runs great drives fine, but when the car warms up to about 220 randomly ill lose throttle response and the car will make this weird noise and some sort of loud backfire pop will happen ill then get control of the car again, but if I continue to drive it it happens again, Im forced to pull in somewhere and wait for it to cool down.

Does anyone have any idea what this problem could be?

How have you determined the "loss of fuel pressure" , with a gauge on the test port ? If so , and the reading is dropping , it's likely the fuel pressure regulator although I've not yet run into one that's failure was temperature dependent . Now if that was just a guess on the dropping fuel pressure causing your lack of power problems first thing to do is borrow a fuel pressure gauge and check it . If the fuel pressure IS ok , I would be checking for loss of spark and most specifically checking the ICM as that IS the classic thermally defective part of our cars .
