Re: aluminum roller rockers or steel roller rocker arms
I have seen too many rocker arm failures to use any no name/unknown rockers.
I know and trust...
Harland sharp
Howards purple billet
Scorpion
Crane gold race
Comp cams ultra gold
Comp cams ultra pro
Crower enduro
Comp cams magnum
Elgin.
That's the only ones I would use.
What's your cam lift and RPM range?

Re: aluminum roller rockers or steel roller rocker arms
I've had both types. As long as the brand is good and using a high end version, it doesn't really matter which type you use. Inexpensive rockers are inexpensive for a reason.
On my original SBC, I had Crane Gold and Crane Energizer. When I broke a gold, I thought I could use what looked like an identical Energizer but found the size of the trunnion was smaller. The rockers looked identical in every way until you took them apart. Then you could see the differences.
On my BBC, I ran Comp Cams stainless rockers for years until I seized a few of them up. I now run T&D aluminum shaft rockers.

Re: aluminum roller rockers or steel roller rocker arms
The steel one looks to have some casting roughness to it. Any little places that are not smooth can become a stress point and crack/break. I would go with the harland sharps

Re: aluminum roller rockers or steel roller rocker arms
The weight of the rocker arm also adds to valve train weight and you have to control it too. I would go with the lightest strongest rockers you can. Get some good aluminum rockers.
