Oil Leak and Oil Pressure Loss

Things really went south for me today! I hope its not as bad as it appears.
I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 with the Vortec 350 and today started leaking oil from somewhere behind the engine--I can't see where from but it drips on the exhaust cross over pipe. I can also see it steadily dripping from the front of the transmission pan. None is coming out of the bellhousing cover. I check and it is engine oil.

Along with the oil leak, oil pressure dropped--from a steady idle pressure of 35 to 40 at highway speeds--to 15 psi at 2000 and above rpm and 0 at idle, the Check Gauges light comes on. Both readings at operating temps.

Oil only has about 900 miles on it--5W30
Running a Wix filter
Runs good--no noises

I do believe the oi leak and oil pressure drop are related since it started at the same time.

Anyone know where to start and or what it is? Thanks for any help!!

Check the oil pressure switch. It should be up top in the back of the intake manifold if my memory serves me correctly.
