Re: wiring question
Again I have no idea where both these wires are for looking for any input and do either of them affect my blinkers?

Re: wiring question
"custom wiring modification"

I don't see ANYTHING there that even vaguely resembles turn signal wiring. Looks like a hoarder with a wire fetish got under your hood somehow. I'd suggest starting at the end of those pink wires (OBVIOUSLY not factory), and follow them back to their source, cutting them out every however often, until that ... rodent's nest .... is eliminated. That's uglier than homemade sin, right there.
If your turn signals don't work, check the fuse, the flasher, and the turn signal switch.

Re: wiring question
Thanks a bunch well I try to replace the fuse, as soon as I plug it in and turn the key i hear it blow, ive looked at the front turn signal wiring, nothing sliced or leaning so it runs across the middle where the hood pops up should I unscrew all that cause cant see it, or look at rear turn wiring? I replaced flasher not that the only conclusion if it blows right away wd be a wire hitting metal?
On another note I have my fan, my electric choke, and my horn I had to install all with no home but the positive outlet on battery which I dont wanna use any safe place I can hook those up?

Re: wiring question
That doesn't look like the right alt plug for a 91, but since I am utterly totally altogether clueless about 6-cyls, never having actually laid eyes on one, I could easily be wrong.
A "one-wire" alt is the same as any other alt, except that they tie the 2 pins together where the plug would go instead of plugging it in. Another hack job. Somebody probably butchered the wiring so bad the alt stopped working and adopted that other as an expedient.
I'd STRONGLY suggest not worrying so much about the turn signals right now; you'll get to that eventually. The main thing is, detoxify the car. I'd suggest getting rid of EVERYTHING that doesn't look factory, starting with all that pink stuff; repairing whatever hacking you find to the underlying factory electrical system; and kinda go from there.
The yellow thing stabbed into the plug doesn't look like a fuse, but it's hard to tell. That plug is part of the ECM and fuel injection type stuff... might go to a sensor, solenoid, relay, or some such. It's pretty certain that the yellow thing doesn't belong there regardless.
It's such a shame to see sodomy like that. Almost like a first grader with a bad attitude and serious social adjustment issues got hold of that car just to **** somebody off. I feel for you.
