Best way to jack up the rear end
I'm planning on changing the fuel pump in my 86 Camaro and I'm wondering what the best way to do it is. I would much rather have pictures explaining the process as well.

its a big pita in our cars you have to drop rearend to drop tank isnt to bad if your rearend has been out but if its the factory and never been undone be prepared to replace broken bolts i broke three the first time i done one many people with fab skills will just cut a hole above the tank and make a door for it ive done this but dont recommend to any one to cut holes in there car

Place jack stands as far rearward as possible just in front of the lower control arms. Be sure to chock the front wheels really well before you start.

Re: Best way to jack up the rear end
Place a floor jack under the center of the rear end and jack the car up as far as the jack will go, then do

Then use the jack to lower the rear end for tank removal......
