Good morning all. I have searched and will continue but I thought I would go ahead and post up hoping y'all have some similar experience and can provide a starting point. My sister gave my daughter this car after it had sat for 6 years. We just replaced the fuel pump because the old one was shot. Now when we attempt to start it, the engine turns over fine, the engine sounds like it is going to start and when you let off the key, it will run for a second, stumble then cut off......It is so close, but we are at a loss.


Any ideas? Thanks in Advance!

 

A few of the most common problems that could cause that would be you needing a new distributor cap and rotor, your ICM is bad, or you need new spark plugs.
