ok i was running taylor spark plug wires and the car was running ok but othe problem was that my headers burned through one of my wires so i i put moroso blue max wires on ...now the problem the car will not start it has been up on jack stand for 3 months
so i finally broke in and bought some cheap replacement wires to see if the wirs were at fault .it turns our the car still does not start .i was wondering if there is somting out there that will tell what is wrong if so how much is it and where do i get it .........ant help would be very helpful ...thanks

 

my brothers SS monte was out of commission for a while too, same engine but the distributor was out, he replaced it and it started, then he adjusted the timing, back to normal....may not help you, but good luck regardless

 

Try replacing the ignition module.

 

maybe something in the igniton shorted out when it burnt through the plug wire..

and make sure the wires are on nice and tight :-)
