Engine has trouble starting
Hey I have a 88 Camaro with a 305, it also has a little problem. It start and runs fine when cold but when it warm and been sitting for maybe 10 or 15 minutes it would start or want to start but would die a second later. I have a friend who said it might be a vacuum leak, could that be it or do I have a different problem... Thanks for your help. Forgot to add it will start after the second time turning the key if I hold it to it the igintion position for longer.

Re: Engine won't stay running
Is the ECM throwing any codes? Check them first. After warm up and dies - have you checked whether you have spark or fuel pressure? Sounds like it may be a closed loop problem; or, something is heating up (ie ICM, injectors) but need to narrow down the culprit.

Try starting fluid.... if it doesn't start with fluid First step is the Ignition Control Module in the Distributor....
