HI all had my 3rd gen few months now still not running right so pulled the plugs and did a compression test .held throtle open un pluged coil and fule pump and of i went . cyl 1 175 psi cyl 2 176 psi cyl 3 161 cyl 4 178 cyl 5 180 cyl 6 211 cyl 7 176 cyl 8 212 psi confused that me ! any ideas on this arangement of pressures ?

 

Looks like you have 2 cyls w exh valves that aren't opening properly, 1 that leaks just a little bit prolly not enough to worry about, and 5 that are working more or less OK.

 

Wiped cam lobes will increase cranking pressure. U should see noticeable change in lift on those cylinders w/higher compression. Often u can see this with a straight edge or small machinist rule.

 

hi re set valve lash .copression test showed no 3 wos now at 184 and no 8 woz 204 no 3 dus not hold pressure .so heads of have look at cam whilst top off.thanks for yore help
