305V8 TBI overheating

Are the '92 V8's prone to overheating during idling in the summer and how can I prevent this? Seems that I need to do more than just a flush & fill of the coolant system to keep from happening. Any thoughts?!

How bad is it over heating and are your cooling fans kicking in at all?
