For my setup SBC 358 mini ram AFR 180cc. What cam would be better? Thunder cam 234/539 intake 238/548 exhaust.
CC 306 230/510 intake, 244/540 exhaust

I had a similar setup. Car ran great with a custom grind 236/242 duration cam (right at .590 lift with 1.6 rockers) on a 109LSA. If you have the compression to support that...

Are you carbureted or fuel injection? 109LSA is too much for me. 112/113LSA is where I will be. I was thinking about running 236/242 with a 570 -ish lift. Everyone keeps telling me to stay away from 240 on up(exhaust) duration...they say I'll be losing power.
