Car not idling

I have an 87 Camaro Z28 and the car has been refusing to idle for the past few days. It will start and rev but it will not idle. Does anyone know of anything that could be causing this to happen?

try your idle air control (IAC) valve if it'll stay running with the gas pedal pressed.
