Car: 1987 Firebird
Engine: 2.8L V6
Transmission: 700r4
Cylinder PSI

Hey guys I’m fairly sure my engine is garbage and wanna test the compression what is a good compression PSI for a 2.8?

Car: 86 Imponte Ruiner 450GT, 91 Formula
Engine: 350 Vortec, FIRST TPI, 325 RWHP
Transmission: 700R4 3000 stall.
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Torsen 3.70

Similar to most other NA engines - anything between 150 and 190 is typically in good to excellent condition. My '86 LB9 turns in 190 in every cylinder.
