29 but still a kid at heart, But Middle age(read lowers head and shakes side to side). After watching F@F I thought about running out and getting at turbo for my Talon. Then the light bulb came on, the heck with the talon lets just put it on the bird and go real fast.

I got a 88 RS camaro witha V6 when I was 17- had it for a year and it got hit about 60MPH when it was parked ( crazy accident, I was accros the street watching the whold thing) so i took the innsurance money and put it down on the camaro I have now. But I have now decided that I am going to sell my car at the end of this month for sure. I have been going back and forth about it for about two months but its final now.

I'm 22 here. When in high school i busted my *** and worked a ton to save up for my first car, an '87 LG4 formula that i bought when i was 17 (i just sold it to a friend about a month ago). My interest in cars actually started when i was about 7 or 8 and i used to see all the huge southern california dealerships filled with row after row of new corvettes, and ever since then i was always wanted one, despite my parents always telling me they were fiberglass death-traps. My interest in f-bodies soon followed (knight rider re-runs.......). I finally got a corvette not too long ago when i overheard my friend's friend talking about how he needed to get rid of a few cars. When he said he had an corvette that was taking up a parking spot, i knew i had found my car....

52 here, I am one of those parents that gives cars to his kids. My son got for his wedding present the 91 Mustang GT that is setup for NMRA Pure Street class, 11.64 @117 on motor. My daughter will probably get my TTA when she gradustes from college (Penn State).

I wish my dad treated me this way.

19 here, will turn 20 in august. my 84 is my first thirdgen. i've had 3 cars so far, an 86 cavalier (deceased), 86 celebrity (down, but not dead, g0d bless the 2.5), and a 90 acclaim. these cars were all given to me, but i've had to work for them, too. the 84 is MY first car, mine in the sense that i'm paying for it with my money. the 86 celebrity i'd still like to fiddle around with sometime, put a rear axle on it, drop a 350 in it, and take it to the strip.

i agree, the rice scene is slowly coming around here. but then we mostly had trucks and sports cars out here. we had a few monte SS's out here, couple thirdgens, and thats bout it.

when i raise kids, i will probably give them their first car, but it won't be a new car. that pisses me off to see a kid driving a brand new car. kids need to learn on a beater. like my 86 cavalier. man, do i miss that car.

well i'm 26 here and a mechanic for a living. I can pretty much dig any car. My current line up of cars are my 85 Camaro ( sleeping for the winter) just bought an 84 S-10 ( do i hear V8 swap? ) and my other baby is a 72 Olds Cutlass with 44 000 originaly miles (took me 5 years to find one in decent shape). I basically picked the third gen because they finally got fairly cheap up here without being too rotten. I'd love a first gen Camaro or 69-70 Chevelle, but either there too rotten or already restored and WAY over priced. I have this bad habit of picking up the weekly Buy and sell and drooling over every ad for a cheap car. I'm addicted to cars, and i don't wanna be cured!

Just as a side note, i just sold my 74 Buick Apollo 350 2 bbl. to get the truck. I also had a 79 Merc. Capri with a CHEVY 350. SO yeah, if it's fast and different, count me in!!!!!!!!
