Need some help troubleshooting ECM PROM

Hi Guys.....been on here for a while now trying to find the source of a knock in my 1991 TA 5.7 TPI engine. Several members have really put a lot of effort in to this and I'm hoping we can finally nail this down once and for all soon.

I'm looking to see if my knock filter on my PROM (ANJF) is faulty or not. Using a 7730 ECM. Would anyone be willing to let me borrow a spare ANJF PROM to see if it fixes my problem? If it does, I'll gladly pay you for the chip. I just don't want to spend more money throwing parts at this thing and not have it fix the problem.

If you want to read all the gory details of this lovely journey, please just search under my user name. Be sure to grab a beer or two before reading because it goes on and on and on with all the stuff we've (ULTM8Z and myself) have tried so far.

Hopefully someone out there can lend a hand with this one. I promise I'm good for paying you for the chip if it turns out the chip is my root cause.

Jeff

If your using a piggyback adapter for the tune aujp, or any vette 90-91 l98 memcal will work.If you decide to buy a memcal lmk I have anjf and aujp.
Unfortunately I quit loaning out things after being ripped off a few times.
You might want to post a ad in the wtb classifieds.

How much are you asking for the PROM? Would you be willing to accept a return if it turns out it doesn't fix my issue with knock?

$135 for a anjf or $150 shipped for a $150 sold as is .
They are unmodified factory memcals
