Help Identifying Broken Bolt

Hey guys so my brother found this broken bolt head in our driveway today. It looks a lot like the bolts used to hold on the intake manifold but I checked mine and they were all there. Are there any other things that use this type of bolt. Pretty sure its a T-50 or something similar. The absence of rust on the part that sheared off leads me to believe that it just recently happened. I haven't done any work that involved these types of bolts. Should I be worried?

Re: Help Identifying Broken Bolt

Never seen a torx bolt on a third gen. Maybe a T55 for the seat belts but that's about it.

Re: Help Identifying Broken Bolt

The entire TPI is torx, and some of the front accessory drive brackets are torx. I would imagine it is one of the accessory brackets

Re: Help Identifying Broken Bolt

Could it have come from a different car (someone who visited and parked in the driveway , for example) ?

Re: Help Identifying Broken Bolt

No Thirdgens have been in my driveway except mine. I've never seen torx bolts on my other cars either. I'll just have to go over the tpi stuff and accessories and look very closely.

If you tell us the Torx size, that would help narrow down some areas to look

Looks like one of the ones that hold the alternator on

Re: Help Identifying Broken Bolt

Well I found where that mystery bolt was from. You guys were right as always. The accessory bracket that holds the power steering pump and alternator was missing 4/6 bolts.the only bolts left were the one that also holds the negative battery terminal and the alternator to exhaust manifold bar. The only reason I found this is because I was taking out my smog pump and I put the new idler pulley In and the belt was still kinda loose afterwards. Then I noticed the whole accessory bracket moving once I took all the tension off of the belt. 1 of the bolts is stuck in the head and I don't have a welder to weld a nut on it. I think if I get a reverse threaded bolt I can get it out. Thanks for your help guys.
