Block Info Help?

Whats up guys I am soon going to be in the shopping for a 350 block. I just wanted to know what are the best blocks, and heads to look for? Can u guys give me some casting numbers, and years on some good blocks, and heads to look out for?

Also how much Hp and torque can our stock 3rd gen bodies take before the need to start beefing up?

Thanx for all ur help

i've always heard the 010 blocks contain more nickel or something making them more desireable. if it were me i'd be looking at a roller block with 1 piece seal for most street applications. as for stock heads i'd look for l98 aluminum or iron heads or vortec heads.
